For Johnson Lake State Recreation Area: A well developed campground. This campground is typically full around dipnetting (salmon) and hunting seasons. Clean camps and a nice canoe/kayak lake. Fits most RV’s but no hookups. Primitive bathrooms but clean and well stocked. Also, in the winter, you will usually find access to the lake for ice fishing. Nearby is also the kasilof river, clam gulch, and kasilof beach. Store and gas station not too far away.
