For Mobile County River Delta Marina Campground: The campground site was fine. Great presence by county employees maintaining park. The deposit and cash payment was explained when I called. This would be a good campground however the highway noise is a terrible thumping as semis go over the bride. Because the campground sits below the bridge the noise is terrible. Worse than a car’s loud base beside you at a traffic light. Maybe in the summer when the trees would be full it might be better. But for us the multiple nights we stayed was awful.

For Mobile County River Delta Marina Campground: Called to make a reservation about a month ago. After being on hold for about 15 minutes, the gentleman finally picked up the receiver again. It was cute, he'd forgotten I was on the line and I'd listened to him talk to customers for about 15 minutes. Today we arrived at what looked like a nice park right off I 10 for our one night stay. First we were told by the same old gentleman who I believed answered the phone last month that we didn't have a reservation and he blamed it on his boss! Said he didn't put it in the system. I wasn't concerned as it appeared they had spots available. We were asked for 40 cash for the deposit for our 20 campsite. You can pay the 20 with a check, but the 40 must be cash only. You'll get the 40 cash back tomorrow. If we'd been told this when I reserved the spot we would have been aware. Guess who had about 20 cash between us?
We asked to speak to the boss, but were told while the old gentleman didn't want us to leave, the boss would tell you the same thing.
God works wonders, we left kept heading west and now have a spot for the night right next to the famous BBQ place, the Shed in Ocean Springs an hour west. I won't be staying at the Mobile County Park and will be sending this same review to them as well.
