For Fort Chaffee RV Park: Fort Chaffee was decommissioned in 1995, so there is no gate or usual base amenities such as a commissary. There were no real problems with the camp or location, but we had a bit of problem finding it- the person who took our reservation misled us a bit on where to go (the address is clearly marked when you get here-11601 Darby Lane) and the camp host was absent so we were never really sure we found the right place! But facilities are ok, bathhouse on premises perfectly adequate, a good place to park for the night.

For Fort Chaffee RV Park: The price is great $10 for FHU. You must put your sewer hose into a PVC pipe and weight it with a rock on top which is weird. Very quiet and peaceful. Billeting staff and police are very helpful. Easy to get to the campground even with our 40’ motor home. There are some wash outs on the gravel campground road and entering some sites and I would like to see that addressed. There are two pull through spots but be careful of tree branches. All spots look like they have 50 amp service. It’s a campground not an RV park but with almost nobody on the post and fishing at the campground pond, it’s a nice stay.

For Fort Chaffee RV Park: Quiet, scenic park with fire pit, picnic table, grill and full hookups at a great price. Short walk to shoppette. Lots of hiking in the area. Bath/shower facilities closed during COVID. Stayed for several weeks. RV storage available. Staff very helpful. Would stay again.

For Fort Chaffee RV Park: We arrived very late the only problem was google map gave us wrong entrance, but once we found entrance/gate the security told us to go to police station to get information where to go Everyone was very helpful and polite even during late hours. The campsite was very clean and peaceful. We will stay there again if needed. Thanks

For Fort Chaffee RV Park: We are now the FC host for the 2017 winter. Great place to stay, post staff helpful. Like in the previous review stay on hwy 22 over the tracks and past Montgomery Ave to the stop light which is the entrance to Fort Chaffee, from the gate go to the first stop sign and take a right, stay on this till you see the gym on the right the FC office is here for check in. All sites are FH. There is a modest PX and check with camp host or office for location of free laundry. Great cell service. Each site has lots of room, grill, picknick table, and fire pit. Great places to walk the dog but no dog park, you really don't need one here.

For Fort Chaffee RV Park: Great park at a wonderful price. Road in park could use a little repair but otherwise perfect. See the wine country while there.one note on directions, do not turn onto Mahogany Ave. Continue on AR 22 for less quarter mile. The entrance is at the traffic light.
