For Choctaw: Great COE site with generous spacing. Nicely wooded, plenty of room in and around campsites. 'D' Area has 50amp, others have 30 / none. Beautiful lake views, easy boating access. 11 miles to Clinton Wal*Mart, other resources.

For Choctaw: A great find for us. We got canceled out of a national park because of the bad storms. Saw this Army corps of engineers recreation area along the way. Not open for the season yet, campsites available on a walk in basis or through Reserve America with about five days advance notice. We drove in, Selected a site, went back to the gate and paid on the honor system. $10 for senior pass rate. We found a site near the lake and it was a delightful overnight stay, Despite the ticks on the dog.
