For Monte Ne Beaver Lake Camping: I didn't stay here recently, but I had in the past. We drove though to find a spot this week thinking we would like to stay here. It was a mix of a few nice camper trailers with a lot of full time trailers. Looked more like a yucky mobile home park. Some sites had several broken down cars, and many broken down trailers. The tent sites were all still fine, but there was not one tent site used.
Not worth staying here. Sad to say this place has gone downhill.

For Monte Ne Beaver Lake Camping: This campground is very hilly and not well kept. The showers are disgusting and constantly back up on you when showering. Also the people running it are not good people. A stray dog ended up following my dog and I back to the campground. The campground is on a very busy road and the poor dog almost got hit several times. I asked the campground owners to please call animal control and they wouldn't. They chose to run the dog off with a huge stick back into the busy road. This was just a sickening disregard for the dog's life. I ended up researching the local animal control and called. I'm hoping they picked the dog up because I didn't see him after that. I would never stay here again because of how dirty it was but even more so because of what happened. We ended up moving down the road two miles to Horseshoe Bend Campground. So nice and right on the lake.

For Monte Ne Beaver Lake Camping: Worst place we've tried to stay. Made reservation 6 weeks ahead of time. Called one week prior to arrival and was told everything "OK". Arrived Friday oct 19 around 6:30 p.m. and they had our reservation but no place for us to stay. Everything was a mess they had 16' pop up's on 55' pull through. When I said i had made my reservation a month and 1/2 in advance the person in the office said yes I know we have your reservation but we don't have a place for you. They offered no suggestions or help in finding another place. When I mentioned I would be writing an unfavorable review the person in the office said and I quite "go ahead, I don't own the place. We will never go back there again!!
