For Destiny Phoenix RV Resorts: After 10+ years staying had to cancel due to Covid and potentially no Baseball. Notified them one month in advance and they hit me with a $25 cancellation fee. Outrageous!!! I know the $25 won’t kill me, but it is the principal. No mention of the cancellation on their web site.
Beware!!! Once they have your money it’s very hard to get it back!

For Destiny Phoenix RV Resorts: Not as advertised. Trailers with AC’s hanging out the window held up by 2X4’s. Laundry area 5 washing machines not working. One person had lost $10 on bad machines over a week. Pool was full of debris, would not think of swimming in it. Site was not clean. Outside maintenance help questionable??? Was told of power & water outages (we did mot experience it). Would not stay here again.

For Destiny Phoenix RV Resorts: This is one of the nicer RV parks in the area. It is well laid out, and actually looks like an RV park versus a manufactured home community. There are quite a few long-term guests and although a few of those sites could use some love most are neat & tidy. The managers and grounds team are pleasant and helpful. We did not interact with the after-hours team. I found the WiFi unusable. Verizon coverage is good. During our 3-month stay, I noted folks cutting through our site perhaps a dozen times. That's a people issue of course, but something no RV-er should do. Some notes on getting here: From I-10 Eastbound take exit 123 Citrus Rd. From I-10 Westbound take exit 125 and follow the frontage road to Citrus Rd.

For Destiny Phoenix RV Resorts: The best thing about this park was it was off season and not crowded. I definitely wouldn’t stay here in the winter and be packed in like sardines. Sites are paved but so narrow. We had tree branches up against our slide outs. Lots of permanent RV residents who don’t have much to do with visitors. A very weird vibe at the pool as they look at you like you don’t belong. The sad thing is this is the best park in that part of town.

For Destiny Phoenix RV Resorts: Overall, this is the best park in the area. There were some frustrations, but compared to other parks nearby, this is the best deal.
They recently made the previously-overpriced premium WiFi free for everyone. In the mornings and very late at night, i get about 5mbps, but afternoons and evenings are difficult to use. I used my cell phone as a hot spot, had great (full or nearly full bars) t-mobile & vzw LTE.
Lots of year-round residents, but the short term visitors get spaces closest to laundry/pool/gym. Laundry is $1.75 per machine, and they’re kept clean and in good repair. The office has quarters and laundry soap for sale. I wish the market had a bit more of a selection, but all the major grocery delivery apps serve the park (Shipt, Instacart, Safeway).
No age limit on rigs, so you see some really amazing RVs come and go. I hope they never add a rig age limit because this was one of the highlights of our stay during the winter.
Children can only stay 3 nights, so it’s a very quiet park.
I completely disagree with their ban on so-called “violent breeds†of dogs, because such rules are BS and because it’s selectively enforced. The managers have an ill-behaved pit mix that barks uncontrollably. I ran into some VERY unfriendly dogs (a purebred poodle and countless small dogs) who were allowed to stay (and one dog that barked unattended for a while day was allowed to do so because “quiet hours don’t start till 10â€). Meanwhile, we had some very nice neighbors who were yelled at by management for having two elderly (blind, gentle, and well behaved) pit mixes. That’s the main reason this isn’t a 5-star review.
The front office people are very nice, even when I saw guests berating them for things beyond their control. They went above and beyond to make sure we had access to everything we needed and to make sure we got the most out of our stay.

For Destiny Phoenix RV Resorts: Someone should add that they only allow kids for 3 days...

For Destiny Phoenix RV Resorts: Average rv park kept fairly clean. Dog run doesn't have a cleaning regimen because it has awful urine smell, so bad my dog was offended and refused to go inside!
By the reviews I expected more.
The roads are all narrow & asphalt as well as the sites. Our site was level.
Our patio was littered with leaves and spider webs as was the electric box! The 50 amp receptacle was broke but the power worked ok. Hose spigot leaked profusely so I used the the opposite side.
Trees are nice and give some shade and when the fruit is ripe you may help yourself.
The price of $42.00 + $3.00 for electric per day I felt was to expensive for this rv park especially when they offer a Good Sam discount and the bill is >$45.00. That's more than the advertised price on their website for a "Deluxe Site".
Reception folks are very nice and accommodating. We camped in a 37'Class A Motorhome pulling a car and the site was too short to keep the car attached.
