For Trailer Village South Rim - Grand Canyon National Park: Stayed 2 nights, great location in Grand Canyon Village, shuttle stop on property. Very basic full hookup campground.

For Trailer Village South Rim - Grand Canyon National Park: I love this park! You are right inside the national park so you have easy access to the park. There is a shuttle stop at the entrance to the campground- just a short walk from your site. Our site was mostly level, utilities worked well, cable tv was a nice touch and we had about 3 bars of service with AT&T. We were entertained daily by the herd of elk that roam through the campground. I would definitely recommend this park.

Brenda

For Trailer Village South Rim - Grand Canyon National Park: Access to the South Rim from Trailer Village is amazing! Sites at Trailer Village RV Park are paved, but not very level. They are staggered so even though you are close, you are not in your neighbor’s face. Nice picnic table, grill was full of old coals, but we have our own grill. Huge bull elk greeted us at our site with multiple elk wandering through every day of our weeks’ stay. No need to unhook vehicles as transportation is free and easy. Free shuttle bus 2 minute walk from our site with buses running every 10 minutes or so. Given maps and Grand Canyon info at check-in. Easy walk to Visitor’s Center, Market Plaza, and South Rim. There are many trails between South Rim sites so don’t forget your map!! There are trees that do need trimming. Verizon 3 bars LTE and 5G on newer phones. Slow WiFi at General Store. Absolutely worth the price to have such easy access to the Grand Canyon and the comforts of home and the option of eating out or at “home”.

Mark B

For Trailer Village South Rim - Grand Canyon National Park: Very disappointed for a National Park private run campground. Over priced for a dump. Very close sites, no maintenance, cable boxes smashed and didn’t work. Sewer and fresh water connections a foot apart very unsanitary did not connect to water. Lamp post bent over, so called fire pits were a couple of rocks. Only good thing is it’s close to the store and trails to the rim. Got into the park run campground ( Mathers ) major difference. Not All Wander

For Trailer Village South Rim - Grand Canyon National Park: I have a 44’ motor home (13’1” hard clearance) and had no problem getting our rig into the site. The check-in was smooth and elk were waiting for us at our pull-through. Water pressure was great as well as the cable TV. The bathrooms, although dated, were adequate. There is limited to no ATT coverage, but a short drive to nearby hotels got 4 full bars on the phone and WiFi. The place is a bit rustic, but the rim is a short bike ride away. Not many National Parks can accommodate big rigs, but this is one of them! Showers were not available as they still have COVID lock down in places.

Bunky

For Trailer Village South Rim - Grand Canyon National Park: For the high price and the reviews I was expecting more from this place. The trees are low and in need of maintenance. Difficult to avoid scratching rig. Sites are pull through but the whole place lacked ambiance. Everybody stacked in, not a pleasing layout. The permanent trailers on the east side made it even worse and you have to walk through those to get to one of the trails. Cable box thrashed. Had to rewire it ourselves just to get it to work. No WiFi or ATT reception. The pluses are the location and the plentiful elk that roam throughout completely comfortable with people.

Brown Sugar

For Trailer Village South Rim - Grand Canyon National Park: Nice spot all around. Obviously a high volume operation with a lot of people in and out all the time. Full hookups and relatively easy access to the site. There is not tons of rooms between sites, but that is to be expected at a place like this. Quiet campground, with elk walking calmly and freely throughout. There's a very well equipped market nearby (10 to 15 min walk, 3 min bike) and the walk to the South Rim is 15 to 20 minutes along a nice paved trail with lots of wildlife (deer, elk, various birds). Getting to the park is not easy as there are no real signs once you enter the GCNP.
