For Wild Cow Springs Campground: The campground looks like it had a update recently. Plenty of toilets, fire places, picnic tables and trash bins. Several sites will hand small rigs. Some sites are on the iffy side. We saw deer, chipmunks and lots of birds. I think it is worth the rough ride in. In good weather 2 wheel drive will be fine if you go slow.

For Wild Cow Springs Campground: BLM office phone is changed to 928 718 3700 for here and WindyPeak area. Per BLM campground, trails and toilets are open and campground has shade and views. The last 3.5 miles is dirt that is steep, winding and rough. We brought our 25’ motor home half way and chickened out. BLM recommends 24’ max. There are very few turn around or passing areas.

For Wild Cow Springs Campground: Went up for the day with my boys to check it out prior to camping. Thought it was great. Took my Ford Escape and my son was in his Ford Ranger neither 4 wheel drive. Had no problem at all. Gonna return for a 3 day camping trip

For Wild Cow Springs Campground: Went there June 2015. The road through the campground was *very* washed out, bad enough that I wasn't willing to take my 4WD pickup (no trailer) all the way up. Bathrooms looked ok but sites weren't really truck or tent friendly, so we moved on.
