For Wild West Ranch and RV Resort: Poor WiFi would give 2 1/2 star if could. Ok for overnight stay but we passed the cattle stockyards close by and was glad the smell did not make it to this campgrounds.

For Wild West Ranch and RV Resort: We had an aborted stay at the Wild West Ranch and RV Resort. We were supposed to stay there 7 days but left after 3. What first attracted us was the amenities so graphically displayed on the resort web site. Do not believe it. The laundry looked superb. Reality set in. Of the 6 washers only 3 worked. Of the 6 dryers only 3 worked. From the web site the bathhouse looked awesome. On the men’s side it was a single sink, a single toilet with no door, and 2 well worn and used showers. The lady’s side featured an additional toilet on which the door did not lock. The community center with a kitchen, another bathroom, TV, and library was inexplicably locked. When we asked about it we were told that it was just recently cleaned. The park itself is just a dirt lot with dirt streets, dirt sites and dirt pads. The sites were not close but were not widely spaced. We should have been prepared for problems when we first set up and our neighbor arrived and asked, “Is the power back up?” Water is supplied to the park via a single cistern at the center. In one 24 hour period, there was no water available for three periods ranging from 1-3 hours. Essentially, the management had to go offsite fill up a portable cistern and pump it into the resort cistern. We could have put up with all the above even the earthy smell of the nearby feed lots. But, jeez at least put up a $2.00 shower curtain on the toilet, this is not the 3rd world. We asked for a refund for our unused days. We were told no refunds but that we would be provided with a voucher good for the remaining days. We never received the voucher. We stayed in January of 2019, in a 32 ft class A with a toad. We will not be returning

Big2bucks

For Wild West Ranch and RV Resort: Beautiful place. Owners have spent a lot of money upgrading this park. New restrooms , new washateria, lots of new landscaping and signs. I like the spacious sites well over a hundred and 20 dedicated to overnight and short term. RV wash dump site and showers along with water for storage. They offer propane and a variety of snacks in the office. Also have a huge party room with tables and seating for 40. Stoves refrigerators and tv ale this a fun place to get to know your neighbors.

Erin C

For Wild West Ranch and RV Resort: My young daughter and I have lived at Wild West for nearly a year now and we couldn't be happier to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The park is beautiful, the bathhouses/restrooms which are coded for additional security are cleaned and inspected on a daily basis and the showers are spacious! The FREE WI-FI is amazing, even with running two smart TV's and a tablet at the same time. The onsite laundry room is newly air conditioned and also immaculate. The office which was remodeled and just opened a few months ago is full of delicious treats, drinks, and just about every beer and wine your heart could desire. The owners, Nash & Deanna will bend over backwards to make your stay amazing with fire pits, grills and picnic tables. The neighbors have become family in a way you just can't get in a traditional neighborhood. The night skies away from all the lights are perfect for stargazing, enjoying the quiet or conversing with great people. You won't be disappointed when you come to visit!

Summrbrz

For Wild West Ranch and RV Resort: Fellow RVers: STEER CLEAR OF THIS UNETHICAL PLACE. Our experience this past winter at Wild West Ranch & RV Park (formerly John Wayne RV Ranch, LLC) in Maricopa, Arizona
We paid a $100.00 deposit via credit card to this campground on 11/10/2017 for a month's stay beginning on 12/18/2017. Upon arrival, we wrote a check for $400.00 for the monthly rent. We left the campground on 1/13/2018, and my husband had made arrangements earlier in the week to return for another month beginning on 1/28/2018. Our credit card was charged by the campground for our electricity usage through 1/13/2018 on 1/29/2018. The amount charged was overstated, and a credit was issued to our card for the difference. We had not authorized this charge. Upon our return to Wild West on 1/28/2018, we wrote another check for $400.00 to cover the month ending on 2/28/2018. (At this time, our initial $100.00 deposit is still on the books as a credit). On the morning of our departure, March 1, 2018 we discovered the campground had charged our credit card 5 times between 10:57 and 11:08 am on 1/28/2018 for a total of $80.00 for electricity usage. We had not authorized this charge. We went to the office to inquire and ask for a final invoice along with the return of the deposit since it had not been used. I was told we would not receive our deposit because we owed money to the campground. We totally disagree with this and they have offered no proof of it. The owner Deanna R. Wilson-Alkateeb (wife) was offsite and would only communicate via text. The owner Naji Alkateeb (husband) was onsite but offered nothing but insults to my husband. As of this post, we have yet to receive any communication from the campground and our many emails and texts continue to go unanswered. We have filed a complaint with BBB-Arizona. A complaint has been filed with our bank as well. It turns out, this is not an isolated incident, and other campers have had similar problems involving the return of deposits and unauthorized credit card charges. There are several reviews out there. CAUTION: DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD WITH THIS CAMPGROUND!

For Wild West Ranch and RV Resort: Don't stay. Believe all the bad reviews. Don't plan on getting any refunds on your deposit back. I've reported them to Better Business Bureau of Casa Grande and also reported them to my credit card company. Unethical owners.

DittyBag

For Wild West Ranch and RV Resort: Traveler beware! Pass this place by!!! Dusty, serious smell of nearby dairy/feed lots. Overpriced propane. ($3.42 gal). Washers in laundry are mostly "out of order". Way overpriced for extended stay (monthly) $400.00 a month plus $100.00 elec deposit.
