For Valley of the Sun RV Park: A word of warning: Located behind the Days Inn, Valley of the Sun RV utilizes Days Inn for check in /check out. The two enterprises are owned separately, thus if you have any difficulty with utilities, don’t expect much attention. We surmise the situation was the result of absentee ownership. Be sure to check the actual amps on your spot, most do not have 50 amps. Electrical power outlets are in deplorable shape. Many of the sites are occupied by full-timers with commensurate possessions piled up around their vehicles. While we were there, we experienced no water for the better part of a full day. The front office offered the reason was a guest drove over the water main. We later learned this was not at all true, rather that overnight the hotel’s engineering had turned off the water to the RV park and neglected to turn it back on. There is no regular maintenance to the grounds. It’s awash with cigarette butts, plastic bottle caps, and other random trash. The sites are uneven, crumbling asphalt. On a positive note, the hotel’s Matchbox Bar & Grill makes some delicious sliders.

For Valley of the Sun RV Park: This place is a joke. front office is ran by complete morons who make up lies to cover up their mistakes. No customer service. I complained for 5 days about a SEPTIC HOSE leaking into my camping stall and they didn’t do anything about it until I threatened to call the city inspector. The manager of the facility only cares about your money. I mean ZERO customer service. Stay away

For Valley of the Sun RV Park: Older facilities but kept clean and functioning. The spots were flat and paved with a paved patio space and room for another vehicle. We had no issues with water/sewer or electric hookups. The Park was quiet and felt safe. We stayed 4 nights and found the location very convenient to groceries, other shops, a movie theater and the ice rink (we were in the area for a hockey tournament). Hotel offers breakfast for RV guests at $4/p. It’s basic - waffles, fruit, oatmeal, eggs, sausage and cereal. Not bad for the price. The staff were all very helpful and kind. We WILL be back.

For Valley of the Sun RV Park: We stayed two nights in late February at a rate of $36/night plus tax. This is not a resort but if you are looking for reasonable, easy access RV spot on the west side of Phoenix for a night or a week to see some spring BB it would be adequate. Check in at Days Hotel which is in front of property. Level spots, some trees and even some grass. S/W/Electric sites. Most are 30amp although I think some had 50amp service. Old but relatively clean shower facility and laundry.

For Valley of the Sun RV Park: Older but well kept. Check in at motel office. Motel had a sports area with pool table.
