For Roosevelt Lake - Windy Hill Campground: We had a great location at Windy Hill, Coati Area 24T....up on the hill overlooking the Roosevelt Lake....it is quite a walk getting in to our campsite but i'd say that is part of it we did a lot walking and going down to the lake is a little bit steep but it is still fine. Overall we had a great experience, the place is wonderful, very clean ...it got the necessary amenities, just perfect. Except for one thing i know it is personal, irrelevant and we are still hoping to find our pet bearded dragon named 'Neo' on our last few hours he got out of our tent and as we are packing when my son Alex started looking for him, he didn't find him. It is so devastating, we take him everywhere, we had him for a good 5 yrs now we are at the mercy of hoping one of the staffs who works around the campground will find him and be kind enough to take him and notify us so we can pick him up. I spoke with Lou Ann and she is very accommodating. I just hope the others would be kind enough to understand how much Neo mean to us. he changes his color usually yellowish and camouflage ....he is over a feet long. Alex is so depressed he didn't want to go out fishing or camping anymore. I am still hopeful that someone will find him and contact us.
