For Roper Lake State Park: We visited this place a 2nd time since our 2018 visit. We like the lake. The set ups are great. Fishing is great although our luck was not. Since last year the telcos placed a cell tower which improved the AT&T and Verizon signals. The park ranger proudly gave us the park wifi password. The guest wifi never worked. In fact, as the park filled up over a weekend they just turned off the wifi all together. Also, on our first night it was cold enough that the water was off for part of the day for some repairs. It was fixed before the evening.
We visited in Jan. of 2019 in a 32 ft Class A with a TOAD.

For Roper Lake State Park: Camped here in March of 2017. No misquitos this time. In the fall there were tons. Bathroom and camp ground were clean. Had to book weeks in advance to get a spot. Campground was completely full. Book well in advance if you stay in the spring

For Roper Lake State Park: Love this place. We played in the hot springs and camped in the RV site. Hot springs were 98 degrees. Nice! RV sites next to the lake. Kids played in the water. We arrived in Oct. mosquitoes were bad. Bring the bug spray. Would definely camp here again.

For Roper Lake State Park: We came early August mid week and almost had the place to ourselves as this is their slow time of year (it's hot). We enjoyed the hot springs, the day use island for swimming, the showers and the helpful rangers at the visitor center. The water in the lake was clean and clear and warm, this is a hidden gem!

For Roper Lake State Park: Great spot. Camp sites surround the lake. On the southeast side there is a nice beach for the kids to wade in the water. There are also natural hot springs, so remember your swim suit. Park is close to the road up Mt Graham.
