For Grand Canyon Railway RV Park: Nice for the cool weather, all asphalt and cinder with no shade,so toasty in the summer. Nice showers and laundry. The train noise was not as bad as we expected, but we did move to side of the campground away from the tracks as the first train seemed to come right through the motorhome! There is not really a pool or hot tub here, but you can use the indoor pool/spa at the hotel down the street a ways. Good location close to the Route 66 and old town Williams tourist attractions. This is a good value when the PA rate is available.

For Grand Canyon Railway RV Park: We come here every other year. This was our 3rd time. We were disappointed that not only was one women's shower down, but two were. There was one down on our previous visits. Normally we come in the late fall. This time it was summer. Although we have always liked coming here, again, I hate to complain, but...the hotel pool was crowded with guests...to be expected this time of year. However, the parents AND grandparents who allowed their babies - under 3 - in the hot tub with their floaties - was a bit much. They googled at their little ones - oh how precious - as they splashed and played and I tried to relax after a busy day. Would we stay again? Probably, but NOT in the summer.

Steve

For Grand Canyon Railway RV Park: Didn’t appreciate being treated like a scofflaw so will not return or recommend. Stayed 3 nights and on morning of departure it was snowing/sleeting. Disconnected all my utilities, put away all my chairs and outside stuff. When I went to retract my rear slides they wouldn’t move. Being a new RV and having never experienced this, I had to refer to manuals for troubleshooting procedures. Finally got the slides to reset and was preparing to pull out when my phone rang. It was the front desk, reminding I was supposed to be checking out today. The time on my clock was 11:06! Prior to RVing I’ve stayed and many hotels/resorts. I’ve never in my 55 years been hassled by management over being 6 minutes later departing

For Grand Canyon Railway RV Park: Very nice park! Asphalt pad with red rock around. Very clean! Laundry room was very nice. Staff were extremely friendly too! The park is within walking distance to the Grand Canyon Railway to the Grand Canyon, which we highly recommend. Other freight trains do run multiple times (day and night) right behind the park and it’s loud. However, with the heater running we weren’t bothered by it. Would stay again!

For Grand Canyon Railway RV Park: Very nice concrete pads very level and good space between! Honor PA rates in the winter which was great! Wild to hear the comments about the trains, it’s similar to hearing planes when you live near an airport- that’s part of the deal! We actually love the sound of trains and loved it! The hot tub is under extreme construction and the fire pit is broken with no hopes of being repaired soon it seems. The biggest downfall of Williams and the entire area we’re the DREADFUL roads! Huge potholes abound! Not sure what they’re doing with all the $$$ made from the tourists but it’s definitely not going to the roads!

Kitakat

For Grand Canyon Railway RV Park: Total first class rv sites. Immaculate park and very professional resort hotel-like staff. Really had a resort feel to it with so many amenities and luxuries. The only down side is the trains running at night. The horns really will “blow you out of bed” like other reviewers have said.
