For Rest Stop: Great rest stop and seems good for over night. Far enough away from freeway to be quiet. Shade trees, pet area, dump site and rest rooms. We would overnight here when passing through.

For Rest Stop: This Rest Area is just off the Interstate highway, so slightly less used than some. It’s got large shade trees, a nice irrigated green lawn area, and only an adequate amount of car and truck parking (a possible issue if you plan to stay there long). The “Pet Area†is heavily used, apparently by lots of people who think it’s ok to leave their pet’s waste all over the ground, for others and their pets to step around or in. The RV Dump is easily accessible and very well designed. It is one of Washington Dept of Transportation’s network of modern “all-season†dumps, built to be used even in freezing weather, including the rinse and fresh water supplies. The waste inlet is set in a large concrete apron or pad, and is several inches below surrounding ground level. So gravity dumping is easy. Rinse water is provided. Fresh (potable) water is also available year-round at a separate, clearly marked freeze-proof supply, about 100 feet ahead of the waste dump. Unlike most rv dumps in Washington State’s dump network, this one has a looped access that allows return to the rest area after dumping. Most are on the exit ramp from the rest area onto the Interstate highway, so there’s no possible return to the rest area after dumping. In this particular rest area, there’s a large map of the Washington State rest areas and rv dump stations, next to the fresh water supply. This is convenient, but the State’s internet site is a better source of the most up to date information.
