Dutchie

For Riverside RV Resort and Campground: We were very excited about this campground but after the first contact with the front Office employee, we were already disappointed. Two employees were Just sitting there and didn’t even look up when we came in. After waiting for at least a minute or 5, someone looked up and asked ‘if she could help us or so’. A grumpy person who didn’t bother to welcome us or to wish us a pleasant stay. Anyway, after check in we found our spot and that was fine. Basically the only thing that’s good about this Very expensive campsite. WiFi is slow and most of the time not working. The worst of All: the showers were the dirtiest we have seen in 6 months of full time camping. You pay for location, not for service or hospitality. ‘We are fully booked anyway’ 😣

Jenny

For Riverside RV Resort and Campground: I made reservations for two site for 8/8/17. Due to the numerous wild fires in British Columbia where Hwy. 97 and parts of 99 were closed I had to cancel as we could not get there. Spoke to Gina who said there would be a $10 per site cancellation fee. I told her I was cancelling because I couldn't GET there. She said that is their policy. So due to circumstances I had no control over I get penalized. Would I try to go here again, probably not.

Karkid

For Riverside RV Resort and Campground: We stayed in s9 and it's a partial service site. There is a fire ring and a picnic table. The site is very tight and not level. There is fire ban currently but I see people putting camp fire on. I guess no one care.

Andy

For Riverside RV Resort and Campground: A nice place but the tent sites are all walk in. You have to leave your vehicle in a parking lot. They do provide wheel barrows for you to haul your stuff to your campsite.
The wi only works at the main building.
The charge for a tent spot was 20.00, and the showers are now pay $1.00 for 6 gallons. All in all it is a beautiful place surrounded by mountains

Vancouver Mom

For Riverside RV Resort and Campground: We stayed in a full hookup site here with our trailer and two kids - it's a beautiful location, but very expensive ($57/night in July) - for that price, we would need to have a pool around for swimming in order to return. (We thought there was one when we booked.). The price of the putting course was absolutely insane - for two grown ups and two little kids, it was $35 - and it was in just ok shape. That worked out be about a dollar a minute. Yikes!

The plus side is that it's clean, the showers are free, they serve a cheap breakfast and lunch in their cafe, the RV sites are easy to get in and out of and are semi private.

In a nutshell, great place if you can swing a discount somehow, but not worth the pricetag unless it's all you can find!
