For The Lakes RV and Golf Resort: We’ve stayed here before when it was first open and was really nice. A few years later it was nothing but a dump from one end to the other. Long terms were about as bad as they come. Looks like there is new ownership since that time and the long terms now are much better. They are actually selling these lost due to their immediate location next to the golf course. The landscaping is better now that they actually water it but still has a way to go. Water ok but really low pressure. All other utilizes good. WiFi so-so. Verizon only good for most things but not streaming.

For The Lakes RV and Golf Resort: Really a great park, well kept easy access and level cement lots with easy hookups. Has private gate and they give each guest a remote to open gates. Golf included with golf course in walking distance. There not to much to do in Chowchilla but plenty if you head a little south. The only complaint would be to the tenet who had site before us. They left part of the sewer hose fitting stuck in sewer opening, fortunately I had some large channel locks to get it out. I know if they would of mentioned to management they would have taken care of it. Just another rude traveler.

For The Lakes RV and Golf Resort: We just stayed overnight one night in passing through. Very clean park with hook ups and good cell service. We had a very good experience there, but did not take advantage of any other amenities like golf or the pond. The RV sites are somewhat close to each other.

For The Lakes RV and Golf Resort: clean typical resort, very quiet, not much to do, the lake is a small pond, they charge 10$ extra for the pond view??? adequate room between rigs 3 to 4 stars

For The Lakes RV and Golf Resort: Full-time RVers and this is our third long-term stay at this park... ANTS, ANTS, ANTS... they have always been an issue but this year was the worst... we constantly sprayed our tires, jacks, hoses, and electrical cords and the consistently found their way inside, so we had to spray inside too! Complained to management, they said they would call Pest Control, never saw them, and if they did come, the situation did not change. Once the staff collects your money, they don’t care, and the they have always been very unfriendly.

M and M from MN
For The Lakes RV and Golf Resort: We only stayed here overnight but really enjoyed the park. It has a secure entrance with keyfob making it very safe and secure. The facility was clean and well kept. We had a pull through site that had green space and a hedge that provided privacy from your neighbor. The pool and hot tub area was nice however we did not have time to enjoy either. Being from MN, the lake is really just a small pond but it added a nice ingredient to our stay. We would stay here again if our travels take us back to this area.

Cookster
For The Lakes RV and Golf Resort: An oasis in central California about 45 minutes northwest of Fresno CA via Highway 99 is the Lakes RV and Golf resort. You pay a reasonable overnight fee, and you also get free golf. The resort itself is a gated community, with cemented pads for your RV. It has full hookups, good cable TV and one of the better WIFIs we have experienced. You can choose to stay at sites located on ponds, pull throughs, or toward the back where there is a little more shade. Privacy between the lake sites is not very good but you do get a little grass and a picknick table. There is a large clubhouse, pool and spa. The golf course is just a five-minute walk through a gate. The 18-hole course is well maintained, and it surrounded by nice upscale homes. If you golf and RV then this resort is worthwhile.
