For KOA Cloverdale Healdsburg: 1. Check In Email stated: PRICING GUIDELINES Rv30 Amp $67.50 plus tax for two people... Price was ~$99 as when reserved. Why this discrepancy? 2. No one in office upon arrival. Outside message indicated pick up check in info on right. Nothing found, called listed phone number and left message. After 30 min. did a more thorough search and found info in landscaping. Call never returned. 3. Assigned site #6, in a row of 11 sites. Only one other family in the row during our two night stay. They were assigned site #5; right next to us. Why not space guests out when possible? Blessed with noise of teenage boys, TV, etc.

For KOA Cloverdale Healdsburg: This place is not a great place to stay and not worth the money. Their entrance is a long, narrow windy road with trees that caught the top of our rv Our sight was not at all level with our “yard” mostly dirt and mud on a hill. We did not use the restrooms so can’t comment. No cable and zero over air rv stations they sis they had wi-fi but we never got it to work. lol not be staying here again.

Sea Change

For KOA Cloverdale Healdsburg: Happy to get a site during SIP and essential travel. Host was nice. With many sites open and unused all four days, we were perplexed as to why everyone was placed next to each other rather than every other site. We could hear our neighbors talking inside their RV. VERY close together! Pretty setting with pond and nature trail. Dogs covered in ticks so beware. A dog park would be great! Pool and gardens run down. Road getting there is windy and sometimes narrow but well maintained. Nice camping neighbors. I’d stay again if I was in a crunch.

Kristin

For KOA Cloverdale Healdsburg: Very pretty location and campground up in the hills beneath vineyards with nice views of valley. Campsites large, camp host very helpful when we wanted to switch spots due to slope. Yes, bathroom is dated and drive is a bit long from freeway so once you’re up here, you’re kind of here. Fishing pond too which a lot of kids seemed to be enjoying

Kelly

For KOA Cloverdale Healdsburg: Could use some updating. Bathrooms are tired. Most RV sites are packed together. We were somewhat lucky and was given a space in a quiet area although couldn’t use our awning as it would hit our neighbors slide out. Our electric and sewage were on the wrong side so that was challenging too with the terrain. We did enjoy the pond and the pool was open Covid style. No chairs provided which was weird.

Sasquatch

For KOA Cloverdale Healdsburg: Place was deserted when we stayed here, and yet the men’s shower was filthy. $65 + tax! Stayed here ‘cause nothing else around—would NOT stay again!

Cynthia B

For KOA Cloverdale Healdsburg: Full disclosure is that my husband and I don't use the facilities, pool, or other amenities. A great campground for us is clean, quiet, populated by courteous (and/or well-managed) campers, and feels natural (trees, views, crickets). We pull a 23" Airstream.

We stayed for a week in August (loved it) and are heading up to stay for another week over the holidays. Here's the breakdown:

**Staff/Owners

Pam and Susan could not be nicer. My husband and I are new to RVing so we (and by we, I mean me) ask a lot of questions in advance of booking a campground. Both Susan and Pam have been incredibly patient, helpful, responsive, and accommodating. As a side note, we were talking to a couple of local residents who also had nice things to say about both Pam and Susan. They "run a tight ship" as one person said and are instrumental in keeping the roads well maintained for both the RVs and surrounding neighborhoods.

**Location

If you want a great campsite with views, quiet, and access to some of the most beautiful parts of Sonoma County, this is the ticket. We have been visiting Sonoma for about 13 years and looked high and low over the last 8 months for a good spot to bring our coach. As far as we can tell from our research, KOA Cloverdale tops the list.

** Road

I've read some reviews that warn of a difficult road up. Again, being new to towing I was worried...and now I'm just perplexed. It's a safe and well-paved road. Sure, you should take it slow around the bends, but isn't that always the case?

** Coffee/Market

If you're looking for some excellent coffee and espresso, Plank in the town of Cloverdale (less than 10 minutes north) is highly recommended. They usually have an assortment of baked goods as well. I believe there's also a farmers market on Tuesdays right next to the coffee shop.
