For KOA Holiday Coleville/Walker: FYI, if you’re car camping, or vehicle camping, they don’t allow sleeping in vehicles unless it’s a true RV. I asked even if it’s a big Ford Transit, and they said no, nothing “homemade†Looks like a really nice place, too. Oh well.

For KOA Holiday Coleville/Walker: This KOA campground is very clean and organised. Cleaning and senetaising twice a day, every facility and all water valves on the campground. We can feel safe to camp here.

For KOA Holiday Coleville/Walker: We stayed here twice this year, in August and again in early October. The new owners are wonderful - pleasant, courteous, and helpful. They made tremendous improvements at the property, and as a result everything is spotlessly clean and neat. The fresh gravel everywhere looks great. They have added some additional landscaping, including some baby trees. Restrooms were very nice, large with big showers, and again, spotlessly clean. Some of the sites can even be rented with coordinating patio tables, chairs, and firepit - what a great idea! The sites are large with plenty of room for five slides, awning, and patio chairs. There is plenty of room to maneuver a big rig (we are towing a 42-foot fifth wheel); when you leave the property, you can drive around the back in a big circle (with an additional trash dumpster conveniently placed for you back there to make it easy) and exit with zero stress - plenty of width and turning radius and no overhanging trees. Sites right on the highway do get highway noise, but at least there are trees planted along the border. Sites further back in the park, where we stayed, have beautiful mountain and valley views and we could barely hear the highway. In the summer we fly fish, and of course this is a great place to stay to fish the East and West Walker Rivers, in Walker and Bridgeport. This was a very nice, and peaceful and quiet place to stay - we will be back!

For KOA Holiday Coleville/Walker: Really great place to stay! We were in a pull through with our 37’ MH with our tow vehicle and had plenty of room. The sites are wide and they had fresh gravel all around the park. Super clean, beautiful views, nice landscape, great people! We will definitely be back

For KOA Holiday Coleville/Walker: Clean park, right off highway 395. Rates are $45/nt with KOA membership where the rates at the Topaz casino up
The road are half that. Restaurant on property is permanently closed with a for sale sign on it. Not much to do in Coleville. Seemed like the town had a high school and a few houses, and that’s about it.
