For Yosemite Westlake Campground: We went to camp with just a tent on this campground, after only having visited several State Park campgrounds.
The tent area was super crowded, think about a festival campsite and you will get the picture. Tents with 2 meters of space in between. Furthermore there is only 1 toilet available for the whole campsite. It all came across as a bit dodgy. Also there is a lack of camp rules, which resulted in people being very loud in the early morning in their preparation to visit Yosemite park and big trailers driving in at 0330'in the morning. Good news was the owner was very friendly and the wifi worked (a bit) if you had some patience. We would definitely not go back.

For Yosemite Westlake Campground: We chose this site for location near Yosemite and because it was Passport America. We were told $21 by phone and directed to pick and empty spot if no one was in the office. After we were connected and level (difficult) we located the manager who informed us that we were in a 50 amp spot and it would cost a "few dollars" more. Bottom line was $30. We were tired and it was late but I was not happy at the apparent 'slight of hand'. No WiFi and very weird shower room. I did not find it to be clean and thought the place was unkempt rather than "cute" as previously stated. We won't be back.

For Yosemite Westlake Campground: Nice shaded campground. Very clean, and cute decor to make it fun. We needed to do some leveling but not too bad. No wifi which was perfect for us. Horseshoe pit...the place is perfect for someone wanting a complete detachment from hustle/bustle. Owners were super nice and helpful. A little over an hour from Yosemite, but still great.
