For Richardson Grove State Park: Clean, tidy but older. Agree about some sites being tough to get your unit level. I give the staff full credit for really keeping things nice. There were even recycling bins labeled for various things. Lovely big trees but expect it to be darker because of that.. Pretty quiet as it is far enough from the road. Seems like plenty of nice walking trails. We were there in November and they came around morning and evening to ask if we needed firewood.

For Richardson Grove State Park: Great campground. Some sites not very level but we found a good pull through. Super quiet even though close to 101. Clean bathrooms and not very busy.

For Richardson Grove State Park: We stayed here twice now, once in May 2017 and now in April 2018. Its a very nice state campground, but basic. The area is beautiful. You can make several short hikes through the Redwood grove and along the creek. If you go up the creek trail for about half a mile there is a spot where I got ATT reception, so nice to check email etc. definitely would recommend.
