For Pine Cliff RV Resort and General: Beautiful setting. Helpful staff, eclectic layout (in a good way). Lower rating is issue with power. Had to move when trying to plug in and have ground fault issue which apparently wasn’t unusual.

For Pine Cliff RV Resort and General: We arrived mid-day Saturday, October 27th and the RV campground was mostly empty. Some people also staying at the campground saw us parked at the RV Office/Store (closed at the time) and said they had arrived the day before and found the office/store closed too. They advised to go to a nearby house and pay there. After going around a yapping little Dachshund tied to a rope on the front porch I knocked on the door. An older woman answered the door and I asked if she was in charge of the RV Camp. She said she was, but had closed all but a small portion of the camp and the she had already closed the store I guess for the winter. She said we could stay in one of the few remaining sites left open, but she wanted cash only ($46) per night and would not accept a check or credit card. I told her I didn’t normally carry large amounts of cash on me for multiple day stays. She said she had an ATM machine in her store, but had already locked it up. I stood there for an awkward moment wondering why she would tell me she accepted cash only, had an ATM, but would not unlock the door so that we could get cash to pay her? I ended up telling her we would look elsewhere to stay a couple of nights and this didn’t seem to bother her at all. Although we didn’t end up staying here due to the lack of customer service, I wanted others to be aware and come with lots of cash if you want to stay here. We ended up staying at another RV park right down the road (June Lake) that I would highly recommend.

For Pine Cliff RV Resort and General: Pine Cliff RV Campground is in a beautiful location, right next to June Lake. The lake itself is a short walk down a gentle hill, and is absolutely breathtaking. The grounds are very attractive. The entire park is filled with pine trees; it's like you're camping in the forest. This also makes driving through certain parts of the park a little challenging, because there are trees everywhere. We were in a 35' fifth wheel, and some of turns were very tight, but these were at the back of the park. The campground is clean and well kept. We stayed in the off-season (May 1), and the park was only about 10% or so full. One warning, they advertise 30amp service, and the plugs at the camp sites are 30amp plugs. However, we blew the breaker and when I went to reset it (it was two campsites away), I saw the breaker was makred "20amp". Run your coach accordingly. Because of this, I needed to borrow an electric multi-meter from the camp hosts, and he was very accomodating and helpful in lending me one. The total nightly rate (including tax) was $42/night, no other discounts, and this was for full hookups (30amp). They have rest rooms, showers, and laundry facilities, although we did not use these. They also say the WiFi is "iffy" and it did not work for us. We used our AT&T mobile phone as a hotspot, and had reasonable reception. We would definitely return here to this campground in the future.

For Pine Cliff RV Resort and General: Reservation and checkin was fine. We have a 41' DP and they have about 4-5 spots that look like they will fit such a rig. Sites are very close together. Signs when you check in about not running your air conditioner as let rival will not support everyone running them. Which was fine as it cooled down each night. Charge for showers but with full hookups don't need them anyway. Great location to explore lakes areas or Yosemite.
