Located on the kern river above lake isabella
Staff is amazing
The city of kernville has a excellent market
please try river rafting thru sierra south
The river was low due to the drought
But we had a amazing fun time just the same

For KRS RV Resort at Camp James: One of the nicer RV parks in Kernville. Water was low with the ongoing drought and lack of sierra snow pack. Park was about 3/4 full this March weekend. Gravel on the dirt roads is a nice touch to help keep the dust down. Several spots on the water or very close to the river.

For KRS RV Resort at Camp James: One of my favorite campgrounds.. not real happy about the requirement to wear a wrist band and put a special tag on my dog.. otherwise the campground is one of the few with sites on the river.
