For Widow White Creek RV Park: The place was clean, but old & not well maintained. The sites were narrow & didn’t accommodate the full width of our class C. Not as close to Redwood Forest as I thought, but it was fine. The bathrooms & showers were old (chipped paint/rotted wood), but clean and hot. Not many washers or dryers, & owner will lock your stuff in there if you are not present, so stick around if your washer/dryer goes beyond closing. He’s a nice guy.

For Widow White Creek RV Park: Very nice stay! Quiet & safe, clean, free cable & WiFi, good laundry & recycling. Wonderful location! Mostly level sites with full hook ups. The couple who manages the park were extremely kind and accommodating. There is no website so just call or stop by.

For Widow White Creek RV Park: Pretty sure there are more luxurious RV parks around, but for my money this one works out just fine. The location on the north coast is very convenient. It lies about mid way between Eureka and Ferndale to the South and Trinidad to the North. Easy drives to get to Victorian shops and restaurants, fun craft brew pubs, smooth cheese shops in Lolita, plus the lighthouse and pier at Trinidad. The town of McKinleyville has much to offer too. We went to the organic market the first evening and picked up some local fresh caught Rock Fish for the BBQ back at the RV park. Delish!
The park itself has grassy pull through sites along with some back in sites. All good. The guy (Charlie) was very friendly and quite helpful in making sure our trailer was spotted properly so as to not hit the electrical pedestal when we extended the slide out. These are full hook up sites, but I noted they have a nice tent area too. The shower house is not a shiny tile and polished stainless environment, but it was okay. Typical concrete floor with wooden partitions etc. you might expect to see.
We spent 3 nights there in early August to beat the heat. We are pulling the trailer back over there after just a few weeks to give it another go! Can't wait to go back to six rivers brew pub in McKinleyville for more pizza, craft beer and live 60's folk rock! Fun place.
