For Wilderness Lakes RV Resort: Easy check-in at the guard gate and we ended up choosing full hookup pull-through site #325. It was absolutely enormous and very level. As full-time RVers we have stayed in 40+ Thousand Trails parks over the last 2 years and this was easily the largest site that we've ever had. Surprisingly there are a lot of pull-through sites at this park. This is extremely rare for Thousand Trails. Super cool! Restroom #5 was close and it has been recently remodeled. Great showers and everything was spotless. There are 2 lodges but we didn't investigate them. Pool was swarmed with kids at all hours. We also didn't try the optional paid wifi but my AT&T phone had 3 bars and the hotspot worked great. My wife's Verizon phone only had 1 bar. Lots of young kids running around and cutting through other people's sites. Thumbs down for the poor parental supervision! Another plus was being able to program 25 over the air TV channels including CBS and NBC. The guard staff were fantastic! They always opened the gate for us, which meant that we didn't have to manually key in the entry code. Recycling bins are available at the front of the park. Plentiful grocery and restaurant options are located just a few short miles away.

For Wilderness Lakes RV Resort: A really good RV Park/resort with all the trimmings! Nice spacing between coaches, swimming pool, spa, and pickle ball courts. Many facilities located throughout the park and very nice rangers to deal with. My only negative is as in most RV parks drainage and almost level are normal. But still will be coming back for another stay.

For Wilderness Lakes RV Resort: If you're looking for an RV Resort with all the trimmings, look somewhere else! This is an older park, and is more like an old time campground. There have been some recent improvements and it's a step in the right direction. All cell services seem to work here, but in park "paid" Wi-Fi is marginally usable. The roads are rough, spaces somewhat level. Warning - this park floods like crazy in any kind of heavy or prolonged rain! We are TT members and use this park a lot due to its proximity to our family, so it works for us.

Ken Smith

For Wilderness Lakes RV Resort: Worst campground we have stayed in, flies constantly, dumpsters seemed to always be full and overflowing, no free WiFi, and the $61.00 per night was way over the top. We stayed in campgrounds from SC to AZ for $25 to $35 full hook up and free WiFi.

For Wilderness Lakes RV Resort: We enjoyed staying here and had a nice site with very nice neighbors (some parts of the park can be rougher than others). We were there in the off-season but it was still very full. The family pool was great when it was family time. They were getting ready to resurface the adult pool so the family pool had designated times for family and designated for 18 and older. Mini Golf was a hit with the kids and they wanted to play every day. Our site was near the "pond" that was lacking water but enjoyed all the canals along with the ducks and geese. Laundry was sufficient for our needs as long as we did it early. It would get very busy during the day for laundry. It was close to town so shopping for food and whatever else you needed wasn't a big deal to go get. If you want to see a bit of our time at the park you can see it here https://youtu.be/lmHvKbrKMmk
