For Emerald Desert RV Resort: This place is well manicured, clean and beautiful. HOWEVER, if you can, book a site as far away from train tracks and I10. Our site, unfortunately, was within 200 yards from the train ( which runs constantly, and Interstate 10, a major trucking route. The noise was so loud, I downloaded a decibel reader on my phone. I had an 86 decibel reading inside my RV! Crazy. Will not stay here again, unless I can get a space as far away from the noise as possible

For Emerald Desert RV Resort: Almost impossible to talk to some at reservations or the maim office via telephone. We stayed in a “Luxury†site which we discovered had a large anthill. The main office was not answering the phone so had to drive over and request they deal with the ant problem. It took two requests for someone to show up and spray. Check other site we discovered that also had large ant hills. The sprinklers came on both day and night and the poorly aimed nozzles sprayed our tow car and flooding the concrete pad. Seems like poor maintenance. Also they lock the showers and bathrooms from 10pm till 7am. Even KOA’s don’t do that. Most use codes and have 24hr access.

For Emerald Desert RV Resort: I’m not one to complain but kind of underwhelmed so I’ll point out the positives first. Very nice and clean park and plenty of space to roam I do appreciate the gated entrance. Now onto the not so great. I think it started out on a bad note because we couldn’t reach anyone to make a reservation. We had to leave 2 voicemails with no return calls. Finally had to call a third time and reached someone. The spaces are configured strange. Super narrow pull thru but ver wise on both ends. You can’t set up any outdoor chairs on the side of the RV without being on the grass. Lastly the sprinklers go on right on the concrete so couldn’t leave anything out. Even having a picnic table at the site would have been helpful so all in all we couldn’t really enjoy the outdoors.

For Emerald Desert RV Resort: The entire resort is very well manicured and reminds you of a country club. Super nice check-in staff. Walking distance to clubhouse, restaurant, putting green, etc. Stayed in "Luxury" area but will upgrade to "Elite" or higher next time for better location. Close to highway and train but noise was not a problem and train never blew horn. Will look forward to staying again. 24' Class C

For Emerald Desert RV Resort: Very nice resort. Great pool and adult only pool, large clean dog park. Beautifully maintained grounds. Noise was not an issue as large RV storage buildings blocked most of it. We spent 3 nights at around $90 night incl. lodging taxes.

For Emerald Desert RV Resort: Expensive, more than 100 a night. Lots of noise from the hiway and trains. Loud music from the clubhouse last night too. No vegetation between sites so zero privacy. I was given a choice of sires, but no one available to take me in the cart so I had to drive around and then let the office know where I parked. For the price I expected better service and a much nicer park.
