For KOA Salinas Monterey: Agree with other comments. Our site was tight and offered only a small wooden wall for privacy. It was level, but sort of triangle-shaped rather than rectangular. If you are looking for something close to the Monterey area, I’d recommend the Moss Landing KOA Express instead. It’s a smaller campground with similarly spaced sites, but much nicer and easier to navigate.

For KOA Salinas Monterey: While staying at this KOA someone attempted to steal our bikes off our rack. They undid the straps but we’re unable to get them off because we had them locked to the rack.reported it to the office but no security cameras in place. Had to have happened between 5 pm and morning. Be careful if staying there.

For KOA Salinas Monterey: Conveniently located between Monterey and Santa Cruz. Price is decent. Pool is great and heated. Nice Rec room and friendly helpful staff. Park is clean and maintained. Pull through spots are very tight together and hardly any privacy between spots. Back in spots offer more privacy, and space. Internet was great on the spots we have stayed there in the past.

For KOA Salinas Monterey: Small multi-tiered campground with paved tight, relatively short sites. Adjacent slides are about 2’ apart. Very few 50 amp sites. Cable and over air TV was good but WIFI did not work for us unless we went to the road. I think we were too boxed in. Nice pool, close to shopping, a bit noisy near the highway. Good central location to visit Monterey and Santa Cruz.
