Streamer

For Sonoma County Fairgrounds RV Park: We stayed here last April and the place was very good - clean and tidy, well kept and efficient. When we stayed last night it was a surprise how unkempt it was - the men’s toilet had no toilet paper in it! This place needs some help - it could be good given its location but it has gone downhill. We will not be back.

gravel grinder

For Sonoma County Fairgrounds RV Park: 9/28/2018, 67 FEMA trailers left. Gravel parking lot. WIFI is not that useable, as what they have now was generously donated by DISH network and shared among everyone. Great hosts. The best thing about this is being in civilization again and access to Costco. The worst part is paying for a gravel lot - full hookup, but gravel lot. They do have security at night, which I consider a strong positive. Access to local wineries is probably why you are stopping here - good move.

marcia

For Sonoma County Fairgrounds RV Park: Everything has changed here since the fires last fall. The camp sites have all been divided in half so as to double the occupancy. FEMA has brought in dozens and dozens of trailers to house people displaced by the fires. The camp seems to be tidy and well run in spite of this. And it was extremely quiet at night. Because it is so crowded and the sites are so small it is very difficult to situate an RV. It took at least a half hour of backing maneuvers to get our 23 foot trailer in place. There aren't a lot of options around here but I would certainly look elsewhere next time.

Teardrop from TX

For Sonoma County Fairgrounds RV Park: Simple, large gravel parking lot with a few trees. Easy pull-through sites but very close together.

Great location in Santa Rosa, close to downtown.

No Internet but the park was clean and the restroom and showers we're well maintained. On-site park host was friendly and helpful too.

PupnG

For Sonoma County Fairgrounds RV Park: We drove many hours in a storm hoping to get to a decent park. This park had great reviews and showed no age of rig restrictions. However, after a long day of driving (and having the park host not return my calls) I was informed that they allow no rigs over 10 years old. I asked for a suggestion as there are not many RV spaces available in this part of the country (and certainly no boondocking). He had none - I just needed to go.

DaVida

For Sonoma County Fairgrounds RV Park: Entire space is gravel, level, no privacy between very close sites, quiet, a few trees, full hook-ups, drive-thrus, plenty of room for large rigs. But... maintenance was poor: light over women's room was out, cleaned only once in the 8 days we were there. Metal men's room mirror was scratched with a swastika! Bathhouse code was changed (monthly, they said) while we were out for the day. Upon return after dark, camp hosts were unaware of the change, had to make several calls to get new code.

Belair

For Sonoma County Fairgrounds RV Park: Convenient for visiting the wineries around here as not many RV parks in this vicinity.
Clean fenced gravel lot with some trees BUT the internet is down with no idea when will be repaired.
