For Mountain Valley RV Park: We stopped here after reading the reviews and had a consistent experience. Clean, quiet, with added bonus of the sailplane field and little restaurant for breakfast. Tempted to take a glider ride! Will use this as a stopover again when traveling this route. We did not see fire pits but there is laundry. Great stop.

For Mountain Valley RV Park: This is an excellent place to stop. Surrounded by mountains and a front seat view to a glider plane landing strip! The lady who manages the RV Park is friendly and accommodating. The sites are nicely landscaped and not crowded. The restrooms are clean - the showers are hot! There is a lovely restaurant at the airport - within walking distance - that has great food at a great value. This is a peaceful stop to relax.

For Mountain Valley RV Park: Great little park by a private airport. Very peaceful and quiet. Only negative was they could not process credit cards, had just enough cash for 2 nights. Would stay again.

For Mountain Valley RV Park: I agree with all of the other comments. This is a nice little park off of the beaten path, but not too far off. The sites are nice and easy pull throughs with gravel, ours was fairly undeveloped side to side, but we managed. Staff was helpful. We did not use any of the facilities. We would definitely come here again for a one night stay. Escapees discount was nice, too.

For Mountain Valley RV Park: Campground clean and quiet. Well taken care of. Very courteous staff. Great place to stay. Would highly recommend it.

For Mountain Valley RV Park: We stopped in on our way to Lake Isabella. What a wonderful campground! All pull-through sites with water and electric. We were entertained with a huge colony of prairie dogs in the field behind the campground. There’s an airport to one side and you can watch gliders take off. Very cool!!! So glad we found this gem! Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. GREAT find!!!!

For Mountain Valley RV Park: Great park and wonderful setting. The whole area has a really cool vibe. Our site was adjacent to the airfield for sailplanes (gliders) and we had an interesting view of the world’s 3rd largest wind farm. Compared to the surrounding area, it was cool and comfortable at this park—we did not need AC in June. Coyotes came out in the airfield in the evening and patrolled for a few hours—keep your pets inside. Manager was friendly, park has laundry facilities and a dump station so it is very convenient.
