For Sue-meg State Park: Nice campground, semiprivate sites due to bushes, right on coast with lots of walking trails, but dogs not allowed on trails or beach. Lots of paved roads to walk with dogs, however. Very green, lots of trees, nice beach. Only 10 minutes from Trinidad with shops and restaurants and dog friendly beach, no fog! Great restaurant at the casino with view of water. Bathrooms and showers. Ok for 1-2 nights.

Gene Danneman
For Sue-meg State Park: Agate beach campground restrooms and showers in extremely poor condition. Some toilets and showers out of service. ADA facilities closed. Stairway to Agate beach missing steps creating a hazardous walk to beach. Sites are seperated by lots of bushes offering some site seclusion. We asked for a refund due to lack of facility maintenance on October 17, 2019

Sue
For Sue-meg State Park: Nice private sites. Restrooms are marginal, dump station appears to be closed. Getting water was not ideal. Scenery was beautiful. Camped in a 17’ travel trailer.

Robert
For Sue-meg State Park: Beautiful setting, could hear sea lions and waves from our camp site but sites in general are more suited for tenting rather than RV and very few level sites, fire pits and picnic tables at back of site rather than next to parking spot.
Agree with previous post about bathrooms.

Nanook
For Sue-meg State Park: 35 a night, no hookups and marginal bathrooms. California government greed is visible here. Go across the boarder to Oregon for cleaner, cheaper campgrounds.

Jaz
For Sue-meg State Park: Great ocean views and other scenery, but at $35+ a night, you'd think they could have some warm water and soap in the restrooms. No dice
