For Pinto Lake RV Park: Nice RV park.Very Friendly staff, Park is clean, but only one shower for everybody. Very quiet and secure (door is locked and you get a key for the night). Three stars because of need to have more showers than one for a campground in my opinion.

For Pinto Lake RV Park: We've been coming here for 3 or 4 years. The Manager and Assistant Manager are very helpful and accommodating and make you feel at home. We have family in the area and this makes a perfect spot to do our running around, going to the beach and doing other acctivities in a nice cool area.

For Pinto Lake RV Park: Great Experience!
Our visit to Pinto Lake was last minute. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and listened well to my needs. She make me feel welcome over the phone. We had trouble getting there on time and she worked with our schedule and made certain a space would be available when we arrived.
When we arrived, I spoke with "Candy" (sp). Candy was very sweet and did her best to get us as close to the playground as possible (we have four kiddos). They only take cash or check so I had to get my checkbook. Candy allowed me to get parked and set up before having to return with my checkbook. The space was nice with very well maintained hookups. All of the spaces are on grass and level. The grass was nice because we didn't hear shuffling feet at night or experience dust when we opened the doors and windows during the day.
The lake was beautiful. We did not have time to fish or paddle boat, but both options were available. There are numerous picnic tables and benches around the grounds for eating or relaxing. I noticed a staff member working constantly to keep the grounds tidy (and she was very friendly too!).
Since some of the other reviews have been posted, they have added shower and tub access and washer and dryer. We didn't use them but they are nice and very clean. We were told we would get one free clothes wash and dry with our stay.
One small complaint - while there is wifi available, it was very slow. I gave up trying to use it.
We highly recommend parking here. The price was great and there was no extra charge for our 4 kids!

Golfkids
For Pinto Lake RV Park: A nice quiet park sitting between a lake and public park. We stayed five nights and enjoyed the surrounding scenic beauty from Santa Cruz to Big Sur. Would stay there again when visiting the area.

For Pinto Lake RV Park: We stayed here one night before heading to San Francisco. It's a quiet and basic little RV park. Pros: next to a nice small lake, grassy sites, good wifi speed, quiet, friendly management. Cons: sites are rather small, no private benches nor fire pits (only shared ones by the lake), no showers, restrooms are a little run-down. In one of the restroom buildings the men's toilets don't even have doors!
A good place for a short stay, wouldn't spend much time here.
