For Canon Bonito RV: We were just in town to ride the Steam Train so we spent 2 nights here. Other than using the Shower/Laundry we didn’t walk around the park. Seems like more people staying longer (Bigger RV’s) than overnighters like us. Our neighbors were long time customers and enjoy coming every year. Sounds like they are busy fixing the place up etc. Definitely quiet there at night !

For Canon Bonito RV: WIFI is beyond terrible.
there is a constant sewage smell and on top of that, other folks that stay there say owners drains his septic water out of the tank right on to the fields behind campers when tanks get full. has no septic drain field.
Oh an he uses well water so, hmmmm wonder where the sewage seeps into. better bring bottled water with you.
mosquito's are terrible terrible terrible.
junk furniture laying around the place. they need to get rid of junk wood tables and old torn up lawn chairs. bring your own for sure.
different rules for different people.
only decent thing is the rv sites are large.
better off bypassing this place after listening to some of the issues there from other frequent, but not for long, campers.

For Canon Bonito RV: It is truly a wonderful experience to stay at Canyon Bonito! The owners, Al, Lisa and kids are welcoming and intent on all campers enjoying their campground. Spaces are large, great fishing, true remote/rustic enviroment where it seems you are 1000 miles in the wilderness, yet only two hours from Santa Fe.

For Canon Bonito RV: We stayed with Al and family for 8 days. We stay across the country as full timers. Without a doubt this park is in the top. Private fishing with stock pond, can ride 4-wheelers across 100s of miles riding out of campground. The hospitality is awesome and rates are beyond reasonable. A MUST stay!!!!

For Canon Bonito RV: This place is awesome! We stayed here for 9 days and enjoyed every minute of it. The spaces are big and far apart and the property is beautiful. Al and his family go out of their way to make sure everyone enjoys their stay and they were hard at work the entire time clearing, mowing, pulling weeds, you name it and they were doing it, all to make Canon Bonito even better! Looking forward to next year!!

It is hard to express how much we enjoyed our stay in Canon Bonito. We have been RVing for 13 years, and this is the best experience we have ever had, the area is so peaceful, the people were great. The day we had to leave we had to actually force ourselves to leave. So we will be going back in the fall, a special thanks to Al and Lisa, Austin and Mackelilia, and a special thanks to Buddy the wonder dog. Our 15 day stay was not long enough.The extra effort that was shown to us was so wonderful. We plan to go there as often as we are able and to stay as long as possible.
