For Zapata Falls Campground: Road up to campground is garbage. The campgrounds are really nice. We had one whole side of the campground to ourselves. Close to great sand dunes and zapata falls is very nice. Can’t wait to take new camper out here.

For Zapata Falls Campground: I pull a 23 foot trailer and four wheel drive. This campground is BLM land at $11 per night. Improved campsites for tents and trailers. Pit toilets. No water or power, Fantastic views and good hike to the falls. wARNING: this is a very rough 3.5 mile road and should not be done with a trailer 25 feet or more. No turnaround until mike two. I arrived on Thursday March 29, 2018 and the campground only had two spaces left.

For Zapata Falls Campground: Nice campground not far from greats and dune national park. We could snag a spot in there but this worked out better, spacious sites, some more private than others. Our camper van enjoyed spot 23 - trees the 3 mile road a bit rough getting up there. Short hike to the falls very pretty, mid may still partially frozen. Lots if spots in the campground in a Saturday night
