For Royal View Camp Resort: Stayed here 6 years ago and glad to see the only changes are that it is now an adults only park now, 45 and older, and dogs are welcome. Very quiet laid back park. Far enough from road that the noise isn’t an issue. That’s key for us to not hear road noise! There is a pickle ball court and dog agility area. Pool looked nice same as before. Didn’t hike up to top of hill on trail this time but the views from the park are great. Can see the bridge in the distance. Showers token only as they have to haul in water but full hookups at sites.

For Royal View Camp Resort: Our stay was perfect! Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Terry was great and so helpful with information and keeping office, laundry, bathrooms spotless. The whole campground was spotless and well maintained. No road noise and very quiet at night. We could also see the Royal Gorge Bridge from our site. And we got a Good Sam discount. Highly recommend and will return.

For Royal View Camp Resort: As with vast majority of reviews they’re SPOT on about customer service. If you’re looking for a place that is incredibly rude, anything but helpful, not considerate and downright inconsiderate and rude then this is the place for you! It starts at the top because we met the owner and he was the most rude of all!!! It’s quite unfortunate because this park is quite well kept and with gorgeous views but the staff is so shockingly rude we’ll NEVER go back.

For Royal View Camp Resort: CAMPER BEWARE! Extremely hostile staff. We never experienced such a horrible attitude toward customers over 40 years of camping the beautiful USA.

For Royal View Camp Resort: We stayed here for 4 days. The people who run it were very helpful and pleasant , just not “gushing” with niceness. The sites are plenty big, most are pull through. Many amenities were closed, and they were using every other site. Laundry room use was a sign up sheet. Perfect for a Covid. Wifi was really slow, that was the only negative.

For Royal View Camp Resort: Great views and great staff. Convenient and close to the Royal Gorge. Plenty of space too.

For Royal View Camp Resort: Very nice folks at check in! Gravel spaces, but nice. Some tress, but not all. Nice store. Would stay here again for sure.

For Royal View Camp Resort: Stayed for a week here at Royal View. This is not a bad place to stay at all. I did not find the staff rude, just a little country. Everyone was helpful and seemed to be trying to do their best to make everyone's stay comfortable. I did see a domestic type problem going on at the pool and the staff immediately ejected to problem people from the park. Great job on the part of Royal View staff. We will be staying again and recommend for others.

For Royal View Camp Resort: Place is convenient but......all gravel, some trees, u have to pay extra for a shower (shower room is clean), rude front desk people , $3.75 for a 10# bag of ice,(did I mention rude front desk?). Try to stay someplace else.

For Royal View Camp Resort: We recently stayed here during Memorial day. Worst decision ever, we should have done a bit more research about this place. Both people in the main office were rude, unfriendly, snobbish, and sometimes down right hostile to some in our group, basically from the start they were not nice people. It seems that they didn't want us after seeing us in person, they were good on the phone but in-person they changed. Please for the sake of your vacation/relaxation, reconsider your stay here. Check the other reviews else where and you will see some peoples experiences are very similar.
