Hank

For Horsetooth Reservoir County Park South Bay: Access and parking were easy. Nice and quiet at night with great star gazing. Had to pay $9.00 per day for park access in addition to the $40 per day to stay at the RV site. Pay showers were clean and worked well. Great hiking trails near by!

DaVida

For Horsetooth Reservoir County Park South Bay: Except for the high price, this is a great park for a few days. We support campgrounds wherever we stay. Our drive-thru site on the hillside loop with FHUs lacked shade trees, but deer munching grass in the mornings was a treat. Lake activities abound, even though the lake was low.

Jmciver

For Horsetooth Reservoir County Park South Bay: We stayed one night here on short notice. Stayed at the top of the hill and site was mostly level. We could see lots of really nice spots down by the water that would be great for a longer stay. Lots of tent camping and cabins around as well. A little expensive for one night when you add on the $8 entrance fee, probably would need to stay more than one night to get your money's worth.

DSVT

For Horsetooth Reservoir County Park South Bay: We were looking for a place to stay in the general area while visiting friends. We're self contained and don't use the facilities. We visited on a weeknight in April.

This is a beautiful and well laid out campground. All sites have water views. Many are pull throughs. Most sites are level with a mix of sun and shade. Options are non electric, electric and full hook up. There's no wifi. There's a reasonable Verizon signal and no ATT signal. Our electric site was $27.50 plus a $7 entrance fee. The camp host was friendly and helpful.

The park is a 15 minute drive from Ft Collins.

Zoomer123

For Horsetooth Reservoir County Park South Bay: Nice sites next to water. Some next to road seemed noisy. Facilities for showers were closed in spring 2016 but toilets were lighted and available. We will be back here.
