For Kelsey Campground: The campground is nice, but close to the road. During the day some traffic noise, was very quiet at night. We stayed in site 15, with a 27’ travel trailer and had room for our truck in front of the trailer. Site was partially asphalt and was not very level and we used every leveler we had to get the drivers side of the trailer level. Front to back was also a chore, almost using the entire length of the tongue jack. But stabilizers we long enough to touch down on the asphalt pad. Site is nice and has shade, only a couple sites that can accommodate RV’s totaling no more than 50’. We are about 46’ from truck front to trailer rear.
Elevation is around 8300’ and weather has been night. We are there now arriving 7/11 and departing 7/14/21. Campfires are allowed in designated fire pits. Would stay here again. Cost $22.00 per night no services other than vault toilets and a water pump for container filling only.
