For Chalk Creek Campground and RV Park: I really loved this camping spot. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is because there IS a lot of traffic noise (although it is quiet at night) and the WiFi didn’t work most of our 5 day stays. The spots near the creek are wonderful. The rest in the lower campground are very nice. Great for families. Also nice for us as couple traveling alone. Service and staff were top notch.

For Chalk Creek Campground and RV Park: We've stayed here a few times and always look forward to it. Each time it is obvious they keep improving the place. Extra clean. Great service.
One warning. If you aren't staying there dump and water is very expensive. $20 to dump AND an additional $12 for water. $32 total. I had already paid for the sewer so agreed to the water.

For Chalk Creek Campground and RV Park: Although this RV park is convenient it was crowded. I managed to get a good site, site A, next to the river. But so many campers and their kids kept going through my site when there was other access available. It was a bit annoying to have people going through my site constantly. The staff however were very friendly and the showers and restrooms were very clean. As a solo car camper this was not one of my favorite spots. The cost is $45 a night and you still have to pay for your shower in quarters. Also campfires were not allowed.

For Chalk Creek Campground and RV Park: Really annoyed our short stay at the campground a couple weeks ago. Really friendly staff. We stayed at the lower end which was well shaded and surprisingly it’s not at all loud from the highway traffic. Area is sheltered, so wind didn’t affect the lower area. Nice area to walk your dog. Plenty for kids to do. Location is convenient to many local attractions.

Annie
For Chalk Creek Campground and RV Park: This was really a bad experience for us. We were unable to make our reservation because my husband has been in and out of the hospital, and we had other things on our mind (like how unpredictable his health has been) and didn't call. They had our card number. The day after our reservation was due to begin, a woman from the camp called us. She was really angry and literally scolded me for not calling , explaining that they had lost money because we didn't show up. So let me get this straight.... you're charging me for the entire trip (which we expected, no big deal) AND you get to re-rent the spot and somehow I've cost you money? Also, and maybe this is minor, but we had to cancel other things for this weekend and they at least Pretended to care about my husband. This woman talked to me like I was a naughty 7 year old. We will never camp with them again.

Brian
For Chalk Creek Campground and RV Park: OK, I am a little biased as I am working here this summer, but so far I have to say, the lower campground, electric only, is extremely nice, trees, chalk creek, camp fires, meadow for the kids to play in, etc. The upper campground, full hook ups, including 100 amp service if need is mostly gravel with some trees, the bathroom is fantastic and the staff are supper friendly and eager to help (even if I have to say so myself!) and this touch really surprised me, every FHU site has a wooden palate entry step for your rig, placed there by the person escorting you to your site!
And of course the area around the campground is terrific, Rafting, hiking, etc just a ton of things to do and places to go see. We are enjoying our time here. Stop in and say hello!
