For Erickson Springs Campground: I was originally going to stay at Lost Lake, but the campground was full and I didn't feel like dispersed camping was my thing. I came back down Kebler Pass to this campground which is perfect for tent or trailer camping. The sites are secluded with nice vegetation and tent pads. The campground may be in the rain shadow because while it was storming up at Lost Lake it hardly rained on me. The star gazing was great. The campground host was responsive and available if you had a question about the area. Remember, this is bear country so take precautions. They have a bear cage, but the bear hasn't been seen in camp this season. Let's keep it that way.

For Erickson Springs Campground: We pretty much stumbled onto this remote campground. It is down dirt road no matter which way you come in. It only had 17 spots, and #17 ES the most appealing to us. It is very quiet and we only had maybe four other campers in the grounds. They were primarily tents which was what we had. The "dark canyon trail" was headed right at the edge of the grounds so very convenient access. The site has pit toilets and water taps throughout the area. VerY secluded, very quiet, and well maintained. Highly recommend, unless we are there then stay away.....LOL.
