For Dumont Lake Campground: Maintained by National Forest, $12 night. Quiet with some highway noise noted, but the chirping birds drown out the occasional highway hum. Excellent cell phone service (Verizon LTE-3 bars). Hubby works remotely so coverage is critical for us. About half the sites can be reserved, remainder are walk up. We arrived late in afternoon and more secluded sites were all taken but we were happy to find a pull through level site (#2), no natural shade and a few mosquitoes (it’s July- what does one expect?).

Bill
For Dumont Lake Campground: Basic campground with basic amenities. Many sites were difficult get level in with a small motorhome. We were part of a group of 4 RV's and none of us could get anywhere near level. Lots of traffic on the evening we were there with everyone driving too fast, kicking up clouds of dust. We happened to be in a spot where it was more convenient for everyone to just go the wrong way to exit in lieu of going all the way around so we would see the same cars/trucks/rv's go back and forth....
