For Diamond Campgrounds: Terrible very dusty no grass they nickel and dime you to death

For Diamond Campgrounds: We spent 4 days here in 8/2017. The staff was friendly, and facilities were decent. Many long-term residents but very very friendly. Spaces are ultra tight in some places, but one of the staff quickly came by and helped us back in our 34' trailer when we though we were going to have to request another spot. The up side is that you're in the middle of a little forest in town! Red deer walk through the camp every day and it's nice and quiet. The playground is great. Woodland Park is a gem, please check out the dinosaur museum. Our kids and us spent hours there. It's a great place to check out Pike's Peak and the Pike National Forest. For Diamond Campgrounds: We stayed for a month. Restrooms have just been updated. The sites are no where near level. My trailer back in was about 4 inches off the ground, the hitch was about 3 feet off the ground. There are over 80 full timers and most are from TX, so, if your not one of those your out of luck, we were near 13 others all full timers and not one hi from any. Dust dust walking and any time a car drive by dust. Very very dry. If you are in the tent area hope it does not rain and you have about 1/8 mile walk to the bathhouse, they only have 4 showers for the park and two were closed. Wifi great no cable TV .
