For Casino at Delaware Park: Delaware Park offers a large, well lit, well patrolled parking lot with easy access to I 95. It’s a nice place for a free overnight stop.
The casino offers several restaurants, loads of slot machines and table games including $2 blackjack on weekdays. Horse racing happens on weekends during the summer but several trainers stay here when they aren’t racing. You can go down to the track and watch the morning workouts. For me this is the best part of staying here.
If you stay here don’t park in the lot near the stable area by the main casino entrance. A train runs by there and will blast you out of bed in the wee small hours of the morning. Go on past the grandstand to the big lot beyond and park as far from the tracks as you can. There’s a free shuttle from the parking lots to the casino.
The security staff is very accommodating up to a point. Slides are ok. Pets are ok. Dropping your trailer is ok (just let them know that you’re coming back). Lawn chairs and BBQ grills are not OK. The only negatives are the train noise and the bright parking lot lights.

For Casino at Delaware Park: We found ourselves having to stay here due to Parx Casino not allowing overnight parking because of a well known horse racing the following day. They allow overnight. They said to park in rear of parking lot. Their was a motor home & several trucks parked. It's a big space, pavement in good condition & level. Now the cons. Railroad tracks are very close just on the other side of trees. It is loud but they may stop at night. Not sure because I didn't hear them our at least they didn't keep me awake. The constant cars, however, did. Their were a couple of cars that honked their horns right in our bedroom or at least sounded like it. All in all okay for overnight if in a pinch.
