For Lake Manatee State Park: good stay. warm, clean showers with good water pressure. sites are nice, level, decent vegetation for privacy from neighbors and even a little shade from the Florida sun. Great for bikes and boats. Rangers wete great

Our Path
For Lake Manatee State Park: Nice sites / clean bathrooms not much to do at park but near many coastal areas. Big rig easy and we would stay again.

Sachmo
For Lake Manatee State Park: Wooded campsites. Level and well maintained. Nice park for just relaxing. Good easy walking trails. Great for dogs. This is close to Bradenton/Sarasota so expect lots of locals like us on the weekends.

For Lake Manatee State Park: Very nice Park. Quiet, clean restrooms, close and convenient to Bradenton and Arcadia. We had a power issue that was fixed quickly. Really enjoyed the Park until Friday night. Two site next to us with massive numbers of people, loud music, full sized ping pong table, floodlights until well after midnight. I called and left two messages on the after hours Ranger number and there was no response to the Quiet hour issue. Loudness began before 7am Saturday morning, loud music, and ping pong began at 8:30am. Conclusion, good Park for weekday stay, but weekends belong to the Party crowds. Very sad when this happens to nice Parks.

For Lake Manatee State Park: If you have a boat or something to put on the water, this is your spot to go. As for trails or bike paths? Well then you are better off going some place else. We had an issue with our site because the next door campers had rented 3 sites with 24 people and were using the site next to us as their pow wow location. Real loud. We talked to the rangers the next morning and they moved us. It was ok after that.
