MoHoRV
For Lake Monroe County Park: Convenient location but not sure what you do with yourself if you’re not boating, fishing or using the trails. Nice enough place, clean and well kept. Quite noisy with I4 traffic and power plant across the street and trains, but nothing that ear plugs can’t solve.
Had a problem with Verizon degrading during business hours, guess tower overload - 40 meg download over night but less than a Meg during the day. . ATT coverage not the greatest either.

For Lake Monroe County Park: Easy access to dump and fresh water. Only $5.00 and if no one in office use honor box by two boat launches.

Love to Camp
For Lake Monroe County Park: Small 25 site campground, about 1/2 of them for tents only. Nice clean bathrooms with individual toilet/sink/shower setup. It is noisy with the I4 traffic and power plant across the street. (And trains) Limited to 7 days at a time, 30 days a year. $15 a night, $5 dump fee, water, electric, table, fire pit. Lots of large shade trees. Site sizes vary greatly. A terrific bike trailhead is right in the park. DeBary and Sanford are very close.

Nice little park, and clean enough. Playground and a few picnic shelters.
CG Has a feel very similar to a FL state park. Most sites have at least some vegetation as buffer between sites.
Some small sites and some larger.
Good boat ramp that seems to get a lot of traffic.
gates are locked at night
reservations by phone or online only, no "walk-ups". Online web site is flaky though.
lots of highway noise from nearby I-4
some train noise.
sights have water, 15A/30A, fire ring, and charcoal grille
clean dump station, boaters also use as wash-up station
No CG host on site, and seems to be limited ranger presence.
Seem to be a few long term campers, one of which was set up in a tent on the site we reserved. I feel very lucky to have run into a park worker who was able to sort things out and locate another available site. If I had arrived a short time later there would have been nobody around.
Sites have sign posts where park employees will post reservations, but this had not been updated since the day prior my arrival.
