For Henderson Beach State Park: Campground was amazing, very clean, great sites. You feel secluded. Volunteers at this state park campground do a fantastic job! I would highly recommend this park. We have stayed in other Florida state parks and everyone of them was just as clean and well run. I wish Pa. could do the same thing with their state park systems.

For Henderson Beach State Park: Awesome camping sites. You have neighbors, but barely know it. Nice facilities with hot showers and clean laundry area. Easy access to the beach which is beautiful! Only true drawback is road noise.

For Henderson Beach State Park: This is a five star for all the reasons listed by those submitting previous ratings. Wish dogs would be allowed on beaches, but not possible due to state law. However, off leash dog park is 10-15 away from the state park. Also, for those that play Pickleball, many opportunities to play within 30 minutes drive. Make reservations ahead of time for camp site. Otherwise hope to get in via cancellation as we did in early February.

For Henderson Beach State Park: Cleanest bathrooms ever seen! Everything others have said, plus a nice, informative nature trail. A well-managed park. One downside: The traffic noise. Inescapable. Park lies along a busy stretch of U.S. 98.

For Henderson Beach State Park: This is an amazing state campground. Each site is very secluded, paved roads, beautiful boardwalk over sand dunes to Gulf. Everything is very clean, well maintained and location is great for shopping, dinning and enjoying the Gulf. We will be back.

For Henderson Beach State Park: Great State Park beautiful clean white sand beach.
Large sites,very clean bathhouse ,laundry( 2 washers,2dryers)at each bathhouse $2.00 each.
well maintained, level gravel sites, a few paved ,all very private and well spaced, big rig friendly.
Verizon cell 4G 3bar.
Not all sites satellite friendly, and over air was limited for our site
Park has a gate that is closed at night but campers are given a gate code at check in. Walmart and lots of shopping just outside the entrance to park.

For Henderson Beach State Park: Best FL State Park we have been to! Private raked gravel sites, clean facilities, and a gorgeous private beach! I can see why it books out so far in advance!

For Henderson Beach State Park: Very, very nice park. This is a true 4 1/2 star park and its pretty difficult to obtain a last minute reservation but I did. Keep checking Reserve America. The sites are nicely covered with gravel which appears to be raked in between guests. Large sites with heavy foliage between sites. Clean shower house. Sugar sand beach. Living large. Three bar Verizon LTE, several OTA television stations. Occasionally a military jet will fly along the coast or into the Destin airport. It can be loud for a moment or two , but that's the sound of freedom.
