For Ginnie Springs Outdoors: As others have said, it deserves zero stars. We have stayed in campgrounds all over the country. We have traveled for two years, coast to coast. Never, have I ever, witnessed anything like this place. They have rules here that prohibit under age drinking, under age driving, loud music, no riding on the exterior of vehicles, no four wheelers, etc. However, we witnessed children driving four wheelers with several kids hanging on, people hanging all over vehicles even sitting on the hoods speeding, music being played on professional type speakers from the tops of vehicles and campsites so loud that you can hear it across the property. Like others have said, it is like a competition to see whose music is the loudest. The smell of marijuana hangs in the air so strong you almost get a contact high. People have NO regard for anything. It is common to see five or more tents on one site. They have no regard for staying in one site either. They occupy any place and space that is open. What happens is one person pays for a camp sight and then their buddies pay a day use fee. Then, they all bring tents and everyone stays. There is a constant parade of ATVs, Golf Carts and trucks racing around the dirt roads with dust filling the air. Every area of the beautiful spring is filled with drunks holding beer cans and glass bottles and leaving trash everywhere. Such a disgrace. I don’t know why anyone would bring small children here but they do. We saw small children running everywhere unsupervised, no parents in sight. I don’t know why the people who own this property allow this to go on except that they must be more interested in the profit. The staff only comes in the area to pick up trash in the cans that are always overflowing on to the ground. They hear the music. They see everything and ignore it. They apparently condone what goes on. The people who are at the entrance/exit gates even advise people to remove their parking permits from their vehicles because they say the cops will stop you if the see you are staying here or have been here for the day. If you like a drunk fest of continuous partying and obnoxious behavior this place might be for you. If not, avoid this place.

For Ginnie Springs Outdoors: We've been going to Ginnie Springs annually since 1987.
There are 7 springs and a huge horseshoe bend in the Santa Fe river which make for a long leisurely tube run but only a short walk back to your campsite. Unless you are a young party animal avoid this campground during any holiday weekend, it's a madhouse. If you don't want to endure that experience, I recommend doing a Monday-Thursday stay and avoid the crowds on the weekends. Every year it gets more crowded. As for pets. It is a No Pet campground. If you are in an RV, they have been known to allow small camper dogs. And they have to accept genuine Service Dogs, but don't be offended when they ask what services the dog is trained to perform (it's within the ADA guidelines)
I would give it 5 stars for cleanliness, things to do, and the swimming, snorkeling, canoeing, paddle boarding, and tubing. It is getting the 3 star rating for the crowds and drunk college students who invariably show up.

For Ginnie Springs Outdoors: BEWARE: NO PETS, NO SERVICE ANIMALS (ESA) ALLOWED! Their pet policy is hidden in their website. You have to go 3 pages deep to find it. It isn't even on their camp info link. It's not on their home page. I called 4 times and told them I'm a big rig spending 5 days there. Never once did they ask, or give a "by the way are you aware, pets are not allowed". I waited 20 years to come to this park and drove 400 miles to get here only to be denied entry. I was left scrambling for a place to stay in the dark, in a big rig before a UF football home game. The roads to come in from 75 are narrow and difficult to maneuver. Luckily, Traveller's campground had a cancellation and I was able to get a site. They had informed me that they had another group flee the campground last New Year's because a group of campers installed a dance pole on the back of their pickup truck and had a bunch of girls dancing, drunk and raucous in front of kids. I guess that is acceptable but a service animal is not. That tells you where their priorities are. There are prettier springs in the area. Ginnie does not need my money.
