For Ponderosa RV Park Resort: We only stayed overnight while traveling through. It is definately filled with long term, permanent campers. The overnighters park along the road that is adjacent to the freeway and the noise is LOUD and never ending. The spots are very close together and there is little grass area. I would not go back to this site but rather uses a truck stop and save the $40!

For Ponderosa RV Park Resort: Even though I can not leave a review on campground!
I can leave a review on the kind of reservation we received.
I had called on December 28 2019 for a site for the next day.
Whomever I spoke to on the phone said yes. He took my name
And phone number. He did call back in the morning at 915 am
920 am in this time frame NOT Before. Not 9 am or 855am
He was very specific we will have a site for you don’t forget to call
At this time. I called at 916 AM. The lady who answers the phone
LAUGHING says no we don’t do that ...... Okay enough said
I am sure by the phone conversation I would have been unhappy
After reading the reviews of Ponderosa I am glad I didn’t have to

For Ponderosa RV Park Resort: This is much more of a full timers place than what we consider a campground. When you first pull in there are a lot of nice park models but if you go to the only one pull through left without a full timer, things do not look quiet the same & it was extremely tight. We had to wait for the person next to us to leave before we could pull out. In this back area there appear to be a lot of possibly seasonably workers. The campground is very clean and quiet. Tony (manager maybe?) was extremely personable as well as helpful. We cannot give it any higher of a rating as it not what we would consider in the future.
