For Suwannee River State Park: Friendly staff. Shady, tree covered sites not great for satellite reception. Only a couple sites are paved. The rest are sandy dirt. Site 21 was a pull through but had a big turn to make the corner and was quite a height difference between the two driveways. We were able to pull our big rig in straight, but had to unhook our toad to get it out of the road. Canoeing the river is easy with the local shop flyer we got in the ranger station. At most two bars Verizon or AT&T service.

For Suwannee River State Park: Writing this on our second day here. What a wonderful state park. Ranger was great as we entered the park. This is one of the few state parks with sewer hook ups for our RV. Some of the sites have become unlevel and some are now paved concrete. I leveled my RV with a couple of pavers. The trails are excellent (bring your camera) There is a rushing water stream that empties into the Suwannee and the wildlife is everywhere. The park also has a very large picnic area and playground for the kids. There is also a washer and drier next to the bathrooms. It is one of the best maintained parks that Ive run across. I will be back for another stay in this park

For Suwannee River State Park: Very friendly Ranger at the entrance. The park is vast with lots to see on trails and bikes. A little bit of civil war stuff and even an old grave yard. Most everything can be seen on bike except for along the river trails. We went way off path and found a lot of cool stuff and animals. We even saw some night hawks doing their mating ritual in the sky. That was awsome. At last count we have seen 12 deer, 8 turtles and a few rabits. A long the river the mosqitoes were crazy so bring lots of DEET. As for the bike area, no problems with bugs there.
