For KOA Okeechobee: Nice campground, great site for a 40’ DP. Staff was very friendly. We experienced lousy WIFI despite being close to an access point and had to leave. The Confederate flags in the area (not the campground) were unnerving.

For KOA Okeechobee: Staff was very friendly. Amenities were very nice with adult areas separated from family areas. Food was very good. However the camp ground was a little dated and the sites were, in my opinion, very tight given that you are paying close to $100 per night. 9 hole golf course is a nice touch.

For KOA Okeechobee: For me, the sites are way too close! We had site 424 and 4 sites away, was LOUD music from a camper, who was told to turn it down multiple times! They finally did...but was so annoying! I also came home with 9 fire ant bites on my foot due to the mounds right on the side of the small patio we had. Bathrooms need to be checked more often as they were also a mess! Had to call the front desk as the men’s room according to my husband were “disgusting”. Before we camped this weekend, we booked for 3 nights in March, so I’ll give them a second chance. But for what it cost, they need to keep the bathrooms cleaner and treat the fire ants better! This is Florida, but I have my yard treated...and have no issues! I can understand they will be around, but they were all around our small patio area. Made it very hard to trust any part of the grass!

For KOA Okeechobee: Beware they have shared sites with first come, first serve on 50amp power and unless you call and ask for a dedicated 50 amp site you will have a shared pedestal. We were able to move to a dedicated 50 amp but it was unreliable. We came in from the pool 3 days in a row with the breaker tripped and hot motorhome. We only had one a/c on and nothing extra running. If you travel with pets stay somewhere else! Our neighbors are seasonal and said everyone who stayed in those sites had problems with breakers flipping.

For KOA Okeechobee: We stayed in a pull though as we were overnighting & did not want to unhook the tow car. We stayed in a premium sight that had a concrete pad with patio furniture, picnic table & a gas grill. Super nice spot! Mosquitos were starting to get bad about dusk so we had to shorten our walk of the park. Friendly staff. We stayed in a motorhome.
