For Tomoka State Park: Such a great find. Sites are easy in and out and wooded for privacy. Walk to general store and boat ramp is lovely. Bathroom clean and nicely located throughout the park Jyst a quick drive to Ormond Beach which is a great seaside area. We will return here for more area exploration.

For Tomoka State Park: Tomoka State Park is a gem of a campground. I spent a week here 4/9 to 4/16 2022. The sites are well screened from each other by old growth palm trees and vegetation so it is hard to tell if anyone else is around. The Campground is not suited for big rigs because of the narrow roads but that is a plus. The facilities are dated but well maintained and there is plenty to do in and around the campground. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful on all of the occasions that I have stayed there, starting back in 1981. T-Mobile cell service is available. There is a camp store with canoe and kayak rentals, a public boat ramp and groceries.

For Tomoka State Park: Nice state park with the usual amenities. The roadway within the campground is dirt, in pretty good shape but narrow. Sites are also dirt (which becomes really sticky mud when it rains), close together but with a vegetation buffer between and not level. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table, 30 amp electric and water, a dump station is available with water but does not have a hose bib connection for flushing tanks. Big rigs will have trouble maneuvering into most of the sites. Staff friendly but not overly helpful. This really could be a great campground with just a little updating and sprucing up. For the money it's not bad but not great either.

For Tomoka State Park: I thought all Florida state parks had a few walk up sites. I was wrong. All sites at Tomoka are reservable.

For Tomoka State Park: Beautifully maintained state campground. Very clean bathrooms with hot showers revising hooks and benches for convenience. Delightful well stocked camp store by river with canoe rentals. Easy access. Sites are close by with heavy vegetation. Lovely to walk. Would definitely stay again. We have a 20’ class B fully self contained. Sandy flat and level.

For Tomoka State Park: Nice wooded sites-private but narrow. Sand roads- great for biking. Clean bathhouses. They have the cutest store called The Outpost, where you can buy a cold beer, ice cream, food, essentials, play a board game or rent kayaks. Beautiful dock area- great place to chill in rockers & watch the sunset!! Disappointed the ranger didn’t mention this jewel, nor did he do anything other than give us a rough map of campsites & direct us to our site. Another minute of his time could have offered us highlights of the park’s amenities.

Cool Hand Luke
For Tomoka State Park: Plenty of foliage at this one, lots of sandy back ins separated by rows of trees and vegetation, with lots of canopy and shade. Abundant animal life, raccoons, birds, reptiles, snakes and a cacophony of insects, so if close to nature appeals, this place is gorgeous. Great staff, and a funky outpost that rents kayaks, cooks hamburgs and pours a craft ale.
