Steve Schlager

For KOA Holiday Perry: Really enjoyed this park. Wish it had a library and/or a game room, but the park overall was a real gem. Now…too bad this park wasn’t in a town with more things to do…like Crystal River, for example. We will return, anyway. The owners are really nice and down to earth..

Natasha

For KOA Holiday Perry: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had a deluxe site in the back of the park. Had a fire pit, tables, a grill, and cows at the fence line. Beautiful sunsets. Place was clean. Only downside was they only have one shower house and they use it only for tent sites only I think. When you have multiple people boating with you you don’t all want to wait in line to use the rv shower. Other than that the place was amazing. We will return.

For KOA Holiday Perry: Currently at Perry KOA (Florida panhandle area) for 2 month stay. Hot tub relaxing, pool (not heated), small fitness center, dog park, playground, horseshoes, basketball court, spacious sites w/ full hook up. On-site general store with eggs from their own chickens, beer, wine, ice cream, chips, RV parts, souvenirs etc. Propane fill on site currently 2.59 per gallon. Nice owners. Walmart, Walgreens, Winn Dixie, Tractor Supply located under 3 miles away. Several nearby restaurants. Gulf is under a half hour drive. WiFi fair, we used our Xfinity hotspot more than their service. Cable included. Breathtaking sunsets! Quiet except for occasional plane (airport close by) Nice park for short or long term stay. I am not sure about daily rates, believe $37-42 range. Monthly stay approx $ 615 inc taxes. Over 27 day stays need to call to reserve. https://koa.com/campgrounds/perry/

TM

For KOA Holiday Perry: Best a WiFi and high def cable you could ask for. They spaced short-term campers far enough apart to be self quarantining during the COVID situation. Big old trees with Spanish moss gives it the old Florida feel. Minimal traffic and no train noise. I did not check out the bathhouse and as previous posters said, they seem to be working on updates. Would definitely stay again.

Van

For KOA Holiday Perry: 1/17/20 I stayed one night, nice place so I stayed a second night. The owner just bought this KOA 2 years ago and it was a mess, he has been working to fix it up. I was quite happy here, lawn was all mowed, dog area was nice, trash containers at multiple locations and none were full. I didn’t try the pool. Showers clean and good hot water. Everyone was very friendly, no complaints.

Brett Childers

For KOA Holiday Perry: The KOA has some good sites, but they need to get control of the ants. I always spray as some as I set up, but they were everywhere. There is also a bunch of drifters in tents and permanent residents. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving anything outside our 5er. The pool was nice and clean and hot tub was working. But the people were a little sketchy around us. This would possible be ok for a one nighter like we did, but no longer. The people at the office were very friendly and helpful.
