For Camel Lake NF Campground: What a gem! If you are looking for peace and quiet in a well maintained little campground, this is it! Host is very chatty and very helpful. The grounds are clean, bathrooms are old but clean. Nothing but a sky full of stars and the chirping of crickets at night. Sites are large and private, we were in site number 4 and felt like we were all alone. Our only words of wisdom are don't trust your phone or your gps. The entrance is off CR 12 and there is a sign for the campground, so do not turn until you see a sign! The only downside is that there is no dump station, but we stopped at a state park on the way home so no worries for us but it is something for which you need to plan. Definitely will return to this campground.

For Camel Lake NF Campground: Gorgeous lake views with wihite sand immaculate beach. Our site was huge, clean and far enough from other sites to feel private. 5$ for electric on half the sites. Better than you would ever expect, for little $$$.

For Camel Lake NF Campground: Stayed here one night while waiting out TS in gulf. Real nice and out of the way. Its only $15 a night with power. Nice bike paths to go on and nice lake to dip into with a beach after wards. Not too far off the main road either.
